Reviews for Empire Overhead Doors

The guys at Empire Overhead Doors, LLC are awesome!!! They made our vision of a garage door in our new remodeled kitchen become a reality. The door is great quality and looks magnificent. We couldn't have asked for better service as well. We highly recommend and will certainly use in the future if needed. Top notch!

They called before arriving and was right on-time. They located the problem expeditiously and resolved the issue within minutes. Specialist also adjusted the tension of the door when closed as to prevent a gap at the top of the door. He was very competent, polite, and skilled. Thank you Empire Overhead Doors, LLC for your service!!

I had an excellent experience with Empire during every phase of my new door and opener installation. They were able to accommodate the unusual configuration of my very low garage height, and also to allow for an opening that was out of "plumb" due to the age of my home.

Even better, they beat the quote I had received from a competitor, with a higher quality door. Even though It was not a standard size, they had it in stock and it was installed within a week of their visit.

From a customer service standpoint, they were top notch. Great to speak with and helpful throughout.

I moved to my new house in July 2019 and immediately needed my garage door and system evaluated for replacement. I went to Empire's local show room to speak with Vanessa. She was very knowledgeable. She asked me what I was looking for, took me through all of the options, explained the pricing and applications of all the options. Her husband came by for an assessment and answered all my questions and explained the state of my garage door and current setup. They installed the system I chose a week later. The installation was wonderful. He answered all my questions, and left the garage and door very clean after the work was done and verified everything worked before he left. I was very pleased with the professionalism, the work, the break down and description on the quotes they provided and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace a garage door, system or any other related work. I value quality and good service from any vendor but truly appreciate when that has both of these qualities and is a family business. I give them 5 stars and will be using them if I need any further work in the future.

The torsion spring on one of our doors snapped this weekend. Called Empire Monday AM and by 2pm we were all fixed. Todd came over and measured the spring. He had to make a quick run to get the right size as ours is apparently a bit unusual in size. He was back in no time and quickly and pleasantly set about repairing the door. Rapid, reasonably priced and friendly. Couldn't ask for more. I'll us again if and when it's needed.

Great job! Highly recommend this company. The installation tech, Graham, was especially good. Very neat and professional.
Thank you!

Thank you!

They installed the overhead garage doors yesterday, and we are completely satisfied with both the products (2 doors), and the installation. It took a good portion of the day for him to take out the old doors and install the new ones, openers, keypads, but I couldn't have done it in a week. They were pleasant, competent, and did a wonderful job installing a quality product. I highly recommend them!

We had a spring break that left our garage inoperable. Empire scheduled us right away, got the job diagnosed and fixed quickly and at a very reasonable cost. Todd even explained an easy way to maintain the door for the future. They were super easy to work with! Definitely recommend.

Very easy company to work with, friendly and complete in their information...very courteous with installation reminder and right on time. Installer was very professional and courteous and left the garage clean...very precise with instructions. We are very pleased with all aspects of their service and would recommend based on our experience. Quality product and a very good value...and this company will call you back and stand by their product.

Prompt and courteous service. Did not even charge overtime!

We upgraded our existing plain white garage door to enhance our home's curb appeal. I contacted Empire, based largely on their excellent reviews, and they delivered in a big way! They were great to deal with, very accomodating and customer oriented. Their pricing was inline with competitors. The installer was professional, courteous, and did an A+ job. The whole process was seamless and stress free.

Not only was Empire less expensive for the service call than any other company I called, but the service tech Graham was efficient, knowledge and courteous. He fixed our issue in less than an hour. The person I spoke to on the phone was also very helpful. Definitely a great company to do business with. I would reccomend them to anyone. Thanks Empire Overhead Doors.

A good price and good work done by the installer. Took down old heavy door as part of installation. Recommend.

I dealt with Vanessa on the phone. She was very thorough and helpful! The tech that came out to do our work was incredibly patient with my questions and helpful when I asked him to set up our new keypad!

I can’t say enough good things about these folks. Called and was told they could get to us in five days. I explained that one of our cars were still in the garage and I couldn’t lift the severely broken door to get it out. The person on the phone said hang in there i’ll be over in a few minutes. After the man determined that a bunch of parts were needed to properly fix the door I asked him if he was possibly the owner and he said yes that he and his wife owned the business....
I was kind of blown away that this guy never asked if I was a returning customer. He owed me nothing really. All he did was respond to a request for help.....
John, one of Empires service reps did the repairs and tune up in short order. The door works like new now and I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Empire....look no further, these people are the best!

I had garage door problems back in November. I called Empire and within a few days they came out to check my door. A new door was needed, and they scheduled me 2 weeks out. Then I got a call the next day asking if I could move the appointment UP a week. That says a lot - they had an opening, they would have the door in time, and they proactively called ME to get my door installed earlier than I expected. They said they'd be there between 8 and 9 on the day of installation - installer was knocking on my door at 8:15. BIG PLUS in my book - they show up when they say they will. Quality of install and door is amazing. I would DEFINITELY recommend them for any garage door needs and will be using them again should I need anything more done with my garage door.

Great Experience with excellent customer service! Vanessa was always so helpful on the phone and the folks I never got to meet who came to do the estimate and the installation were awesome. They even showed up on a snowy miserable day to get the scheduled work done. The whole process was easy and seamless and so far the workmanship is more than satisfactory. I legitimately looked forward to getting home from work to see my new garage door. Thank you Empire Overhead Doors! You will be a recommendation from me anytime someone asks me.

Todd knows exactly what he is doing. He is courteous and clean. You won't be disappointed!

great job done right on time.

Very professional job from the start to the finished. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking a stress free company to work with. Everything they said they did and more ! Thank you.

Can’t thank Empire Overhead Doors enough for a great job installing our new garage doors. Very professional and easy to work with from start to finish.

My garage door was acting up - noisy and jerky when opening. Feared a new door or opener needed. Nope! Todd came and adjusted and lubed everything and I am fine. Wonderful local company!

If I could rate them at six stars I would!!! Very professional and absolutely love the door and the company! I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for a new garage door plus their prices cannot be beat
